Wildflower Borders At Riverside Academy

Riverside Academy pupils sowed Grow Wild Seeds along the border of their new school building. A week earlier, a time capsule was buried here to celebrate the opening of the building. The school already have a wildflower meadow and would like to encourage more wildlife to the site, creating a wildlife corridor between the school and Dunston Staiths.

Back in the classroom, pupils identified the leaves they’d collected and made leaf collages from their Staiths drawings. A very productive day!
