Looking and drawing at Dunston Staiths

Class 3 pupils and staff from Riverside Primary Academy explored Dunston Staiths through observational drawing. We looked carefully at sections of the structure and made line drawings of ‘slices’ of the Staiths. We watched the tide rising quickly, covering the mudflats, and counted more than twenty cormorants!

Thank you to class teacher Gill Welsh and teaching assistant Dylan.
